School closure update 4th January 2021
Dear Mums, Dads and Carers,
We will continue to be closed to most children for the rest of this week. Those children that have been in school today or who were offered a place on Sunday can attend.
We are very aware of the disruption this situation is causing but we cannot guarantee safe levels of staffing to open for all children. By making this decision today we hope that it helps families plan their arrangements. We will communicate a decision about next week as soon as we are able.
Home learning packs will be available from the front of the school from 3:00 on Tuesday. Please wear a mask and respect social distancing when collecting the packs. Please sign that you have taken a pack on the list provided. We will contact any families that have not collected learning packs by 4:00 on Wednesday 6.1.21
We have worked hard to improve the levels of engagement with home learning.
- Work will be set to be completed each day.
- Children will be expected to post their work onto the portfolio on Class Dojo each day.
- School staff will acknowledge the children’s work.
- School staff will contact families who are not engaging in home learning.
We hope that we are able to see all children return safely to school as soon as possible.
Best wishes,
Chris Read
Interim Headteacher
