School Closure 23/3/2020
Monday 23rd March 2020
Dear Parents/Carers
Unfortunately, the school is closed to most children.
Government advice remains that: ‘every child who can be cared for at home should be.’
We are offering a provision for children of key workers and vulnerable children in line with government advice. If you think that you are a key worker and have not already spoken to us you MUST speak to us before sending your child in so that we can ensure there are enough adults present in school.
We will be sending out a menu for those families entitled to free school meals. Please e mail your choices for the week to admin@bishop.norfolk.gov.uk . Meals can be collected from the front of the school at 12:00. We will deliver to your home if you are self isolating,
Latest government advice can be found at:
https://www.gov.uk/government/topical-events/coronavirus-covid-19-uk-government-response
You will receive a separate message from your child’s class teacher with a reminder about home learning activities each day.

We would like to share this prayer with your family.
We are not people of fear:
we are people of courage.
We are not people who protect our own safety:
we are people who protect our neighbours’ safety.
We are not people of greed:
we are people of generosity.
We are your people God,
giving and loving,
wherever we are,
whatever it costs
For as long as it takes
wherever you call us.
Amen.
